[edit] This is worth expanding
In a recent visit to the Isle I saw the college, but only from the road on my way to Castletown. I don't know much about it, but if it's been around since the seventeenth century, surely more could be written; as it stands, the article isn't really about the college but about some peripheral subjects, like the test, the description of the crest, etc. What does the college do? Is it known for any fields? What is its history like? Now I wish I had paid the campus a visit, it did look nice from afar. Furthermore, the college website says it was founded in 1833; that's not what this article says. Which is correct?Baronplantagenet 03:52, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Scire ubi aliquid invenire possis, ea demum maxima pars eruditionis est"
...which translates as: "To know where anything can be found is, after all, the greatest part of erudition." - this should be Wikipedia's motto. Ironically a lot of the 2007 quiz can be answered by simple searches in Wp or if you get stuck there a google which almost invariably turns a Wp article in the first SERP. - Ironically as someone who does the quiz every year, I know it cannot be answered by simple searches on Wikipedia, or Google or easily at all, Although resrach is greatly aided by both (and my Local Library). every year people claim this and if they are asked how many questions they have answered they always reply none or only a couple, which is how many I get just by reading the questions ...! lɘɘяɘM яɘɫƨɐƮ 09:09, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
