[edit] sentence removed

This sentence had been in the article: "Because the more serious and gritty film strayed from the pretty scenery/pretty girls plotless formula that the legions of Presley fans wanted, it was less than a smash at the box office." - I removed it due to historical inaccuracy. While this observation may hold merit regarding Presley's garrulous series of 'Elvis movies' in the 1960s, in the 1950s those hadn't happened yet, and his four films from 1956 to 1958 were serious attempts, and taken as such by audiences at the time. The formula pictures came later.PJtP 00:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
