From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Katsuragisan Ropeway (葛城山ロープウェイ Katsuragisan Rōpuwei?), officially the Katsuragi Ropeway Line (葛城索道線 Katsuragi Sakudō-sen?), is Japanese aerial lift line in Gose, Nara, operated by Kintetsu. This is the only aerial lift line in Japan that is directly operated by major private railway companies. Opened in 1967, the line climbs Mount Katsuragi (大和葛城山?). The line does not accept PiTaPa or Surutto Kansai.
