Kinnelon High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Kinnelon in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Kinnelon Public Schools.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 617 students and 49.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 12.6.[1]

Kinnelon High School was the 35th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2006 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools.[2]

Kinnelon High School competes in the Colonial Hills Conference, which is made up of public and parochial high schools covering Essex County, Morris County and Somerset County in west central New Jersey, under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).

On November 9, 2006, Kinnelon won the 2006 North I, Group I Girls Soccer Tournament, defeating Cresskill High School 5-0.[3] The team then moved on to win the 2006 Girls Soccer Group I state championship, defeating Metuchen High School 2-1 on November 18, 2006, in a game played at the College of New Jersey.[4]

The girls basketball team won the 2007 North I, Group I state sectional championship with a 48-37 win against Butler High School.[5]

On March 22, 2008, the Kinnelon ice hockey team beat the Jefferson Township High School Falcons at the Prudential Center to win the Public B state tournament.[6] The win was the team's first ever state championship.[7]
