Kingston railway station serves Kingston upon Thames in the London Borough of the same name.
The station, in Travelcard Zone 6, and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains. It is 9 miles (14km) from Waterloo. The typical off-peak service from the station is:
- 6tph (trains per hour) to London Waterloo, of which:
- 2tph to Shepperton
Ed Davey, the MP for Kingston and Surbiton is leading a local campaign to move Kingston and Surbiton stations from Zone 6 to Zone 5.[1]
