Kingston station in Kingston, Ontario is served by VIA Rail trains running from Toronto to Ottawa or Montreal, along the Corridor route. The station is staffed, with ticket sales, baggage check, snack bar, vending machines, telephones, washrooms, and wheelchair access to the station and trains. There are two tracks, one of which is accessed through a tunnel.
Short-term and long-term parking is available at the station for visitors and travelers on the east side of the station. Currently, the cost is $3.00 for a 24-hour period for long-term parking ($45.00 for a monthly pass) and $0.50 per half-hour for short-term parking. There is a taxi stand on the north side of the station.
The VIA station is also served by Kingston Transit. Public transportation throughout the midday is available to both downtown Kingston (via St. Lawrence College and Queen's University) as well as to shops and services in the western part of the city (including Cataraqui Town Centre).
