Kingfest Music Festival

Kingfest Music Festival, or Kingfest, is an annual three-day outdoor music festival hosted at the Seneca College campus in King City, Ontario, Canada. It was first held in 2004. In 2007, it also started hosting a winter concert series at the Newmarket Theatre in Newmarket, with shows scheduled for October, January and March. Kingfest is a member of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals and Festivals & Events, Ontario.
The 2007 event was opened by The Salads on June 22, and featured various music genres, including rock, blues, country and pop. Headline acts included Bruce Cockburn, Sloan, Prairie Oyster, Sarah Harmer, The Trews, The Jim Cuddy Band and Joel Plaskett Emergency.
