Kingdom of Desire is a studio album by Toto, released in 1992. Drummer Jeff Porcaro died shortly after the making of the album (Jeff was replaced by British drummer Simon Phillips who is still part of the band, as of 2008). This album is Toto's heaviest release to date. Kingdom of Desire was mixed by famous engineer Bob Clearmountain. Guitarist Steve Lukather assumed sole lead vocal duties, as their previous lead singer, Jean-Michel Byron, was sacked following the Past To Present tour.
