Kingdom is the sixth studio album released by Koda Kumi released on January 30, 2008. The album debuted at number one on the Oricon Daily Chart with sales of 84,116 copies. The album debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Charts and the United World Charts with sales of 421,302 copies. Due to her statement on "All Night Nippon" on January 31, 2008 which caused much controversy among women, Avex Entertainment Inc. canceled all promotions for "Kingdom" on February 2, 2008.

The album is released in three versions, a CD+2DVD(Limited Edition), a CD+DVD, and a CD Only version. The first DVD is a music video collection disc that encompasses 16 music videos plus the music video for "Run for your Life" - according top the information posted on her official site, as well as on consumer sites across the web, the first DVD's tracklist indicates that every track on the album will have a music video. The second DVD is of her "KODA KUMI PREMIUM LIVE IN HALL IN YOKOHAMA ARENA" concert.

The CD+2DVD album has a slip cover and includes 3 CD-sized stickers of all the album covers. It also includes a booklet of pictures from her LIVE IN HALL performance.

Kingdom has been certified triple platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 750,000 copies in Japan .
