King Street Sounds, was created in 1993 by Hisa Ishioka and is a division of Hi's Productions USA. One of King Street Sounds' most notable record is Johnny Dangerous's "Problem #13", which is also known as "I Beat That B*tch With A Bat", and was sampled for Rah Digga's "Party & Bullsh*t" in 2003.
Other King Street classics to mention are "Party Girl" by Ultra Nate, "Emerald City" by Johnny Dangerous, "Closer" by Mood II Swing featuring Carolyn Sylvan, "Most Precious Love" by Blaze presents United Dance Artists For Life featuring Barbara Tucker, and "Touched The Sky" by Dennis Ferrer featuring Mia Tuttavilla.
In 2008 King Street Sounds will be celebrating it's 15 year anniversary and it is proudly one of House music's longest independently ran labels.
