King Street, Perth

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

King Street is located in the CBD of Perth,Western Australia. The street has a very European feel with its early 20th century architecture.

It runs through two of Perth's major street Murray Street and Hay Street, between the two there is around a dozen shops which include Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Kookai, and many other stores and cafes. Recently employees of Chanel have been looking for property in Perth with King Street their first preference but with no space for rent or sale Chanel is looking elsewhere or waiting for space in the street.

The street precinct is listed with the Heritage council of Western Australia.

Two new additions to the King Street high fashion lineup have emerged recently. Many will be familiar with the iconic New York jeweller Tiffany & Co., which has been a long awaited arrival to the Perth fashion scene. Also open for business is Swiss founded accessories brand Bally, currently headed by former Versace designer Brian Atwood.
