[edit] Biography

The band first formed in 2002, and after extensive line-up changes, took its final form in 2006.

Lead singer Flash Roxx started the band aged 19[1]. Sky London joined the band when he thought he could do a better job than the existing drummer. Israeli guitarist Niro Knox was in a band called Skintight Jaguars before joining King Lizard. Last to join the band was bassist Alice Rain who came from Rome to London to find a band. They responded to his advert and the present King Lizard was formed.[2]

The band gained much publicity nationwide through former ITV quiz show Quizmania, where both Flash and Sky were members of the production team. The format of the show caused the crew to be on camera for much of the time, allowing them to talk about the band on air. Flash and Sky played live on the last ITV1 episode.

The band have appeared more than once on TotalRock radio[3], performing live acoustic tracks.

King Lizard toured the UK in 2006 and have an 11 date tour across England and Scotland planned for April and May 2007.
