[edit] Biography

[edit] Life and music career

He was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew on on the eastside off Van Dyke and Harper Ave. Gordy grew up with two crack addicts for parents and had to fend for himself mostly. Always beside him during his ups and downs was his lifelong friend Bizarre (of D12) and his favorite white boy Olaf. King Gordy began rapping at clubs around Detroit and was soon signed to Web Entertainment (Former label of rapper Eminem). He released his debut album "The Entity" featuring guest appearances from Bizarre and Obie Trice and production from Eminem. The album was critically acclaimed by local journalists but unfortunately Gordy spent a lot of his money paying back child support to his seven children's various baby mothers. To bring himself out of the hole Gordy decided he would release mixtapes to raise money, the first of which was "King of Horrorcore Vol.1" which received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, mostly because of its incredibly dark lyricism, unpolished sound his claims of being the king of horrorcore are well founded as it is unlikely the world has ever heard a true m.c. take such a dark journey . The next in the line of mixtapes to come was Van Dyke and Harper Music which is still regaurded as the best mixed underground album of 2007. At the Gathering Of The Juggalos 2007 Gordy released his latest mixtape "Cobain's Diary" to positive reviews . King Gordy is known for his hair that is braided to look like two horns on his head, his energy on stage.

[edit] Film career

Aside from his rap career King Gordy has appeared in one film. The film being "8 Mile" starring Eminem. Gordy played the fictional rapper Big O.
