King Fish Media

King Fish Media is a custom media company based in Salem, Massachusetts that often focuses on relationship marketing. The company was started in 2001 by Cameron Brown, and they are a privately held company. They are a member of the Custom Publishing Council which has among its members many of the major custom media companies across the industry. King Fish specializes in Private Media, and was recently named to Entrepreneur Magazine's Hot 500 list of the fastest growing companies, and was named to the Inc. Magazine 5000 list in 2007.

The company was founded as a custom publishing company. They started web casting project management in 2003, and are an authorized reseller for ON24. Face to Face events were added in 2003 with the launch of a small business banking seminar series, now sponsored by Sun Trust Banks. The company produced the 2007 Appreciative Inquiry Conference. In early 2007, King Fish added a full service marketing research group with the hire of Gordon Plutsky as Director of Marketing and Research. Also, in 2007 King Fish launched the Haunted Passport program with the City of Salem, MA to encourage year round tourism in Salem.
Other clients have included Albertsons, Nuance, PC Connection, Verizon, Source Media, Affinion, Tech Target, SAP America, IBM and Compass Bank and CMP Technology.
