King Edmund Yate is a community school in Yate, South Gloucestershire. Yate is a medium-sized town situated north of the city of Bristol in south west England.
The school has approximately 650 pupils and was built in the 1960s to serve Yate and surrounding areas. The school has a Sixth Form Centre and is being enlarged with a science block, hair and beauty salon (for training) and a business training centre.
Other secondary schools in the area are Brimsham Green School in Yate and Chipping Sodbury School in Chipping Sodbury.
The sixth form centres in the three schools run on a link system.
