[edit] Brief History

King Comics was one of the comic divisions of Raja Pocket Books, Delhi (India), who also publishes the most popular comic publication in India - Raj Comics. Due to some strange reason whereas Raj Comics of the same publishers had greater variety of superb characters, storyline and marvellous illustrations, King Comics had almost nothing to offer. Though backed up by the enormous popularity and revenues generated by both Raj Comics and its own novel publications, the publisher managed to run it for about 4-5 years. But eventually they stopped publishing it, as was the destiny of such poor publication should have been.

After shutting down, the publisher thought to merge the charactes from King Comics into Raj Comics Universe. But greatfully they changed their mind, as none of the characters would have met the quality offered by the Raj Comics. The only character Gamraj found a place into the Raj Comics Universe.

[edit] Frequency

King Comics too published monthly with six comics in each months comic-set. The comics were only published in Hindi.
