His first studio productions were dated back in 1972 with Jamaican toaster Tappa Zukie and singer Delroy Washington. His debut hit record "Temple Skank" [1] was released in 1984 on a white label under the pseudonym "The Raiders". He also produced several tracks on the "Worries" record label during mid 80's.
King Chilla moved to Miami in 1998 where he worked on productions with Lady Saw and Bongo Herman and many others. As a studio engineer he worked with many dancehall artists including Buju Banton, Kymani Marley, Junior Cat and many others.
