[edit] Help
Can you clarify the situation? If you did not log in, then your IP address will be logged in the history instead of your username. Does that help? Michael 04:06, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I didn't log -in and my IP addressed showed. Then I logged in and posted. Then later I undid the IP post, after I logged in.
Now, my IP shows where I revised the post (using the undo).
Actually, my IP shows in two places in the history now. I just want to figure out how to get it out of there.
Okay, I used different search terms and found a FAQ that says it's impossible.
I think maybe you left, though. If you come back, sorry it took me so long to answer you. I could figure out how to do it. There should be a little note that says, click edit to reply. Thanks.
- Hi. I just saw that you posted. So that you know, it is impossible for an edit to be deleted (or, "hidden") from an article's history without asking for the assistance of someone with oversight abilties. You can undo edits by revising the article or going back in the history of the article to a certain point and editing it to change the page to an archived form. This is most often useful if there has been some vandalism to an article. Michael 04:26, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome, Kim. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. Michael 04:29, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
