[edit] Project banner

The {{WPGR}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{WPGR
|class           =
|importance      =
|peer-review     =
|old-peer-review =
|attention       =
<!-- B-Class parameters -->
|B-Class-1       =
|B-Class-2       =
|B-Class-3       =
|B-Class-4       =
|B-Class-5       =
<!-- Task force parameters -->
|politics-task-force =
|athens-task-force =
<!-- Categorization parameters -->
|topic           =
<!-- Other parameters -->
|small           =
|nested          =
|needs-infobox   =
|auto            =
|listas          =
}}

[edit] Parameters

  • class - The assessed article class.
    • Non-article pages can use the following values:
      • NA - generic non-article
      • Cat - categories
      • Tem - templates
      • List - lists
      • Redirect - redirects
      • Image - images
  • importance - The priority/importance to assign the article. Non article pages ignore this value. To force an ignore, set this parameter to NA

B-Class checklist parameters (available only for articles rated as "Stub-Class", "Start-Class", or "B-Class"—see the assessment department for more details):

[edit] Other parameters

  • nested - "yes" to make the box collapsible and set to collapsed. Used when there are other collapsible boxes.
  • needs-infobox - "yes" adds the category Greek articles without infoboxes
  • auto - "yes" This parameter is for the use of bots. It calls the {{stubclass}} template.
  • listas - This parameter is used for articles whose title is in the first part of the article, i.e. Prince George of England, you can instead have listas=George of England, Prince -- so that it will show up in the G's.

[edit] Notes

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template. A common initial configuration for the banner includes only six basic parameters:

{{WPGR
|class=
|B-Class-1=
|B-Class-2=
|B-Class-3=
|B-Class-4=
|B-Class-5=
}}

plus any applicable task force parameters.
