[edit] José Berrocal scholarship - references?
I'm moved the following paragraph to the talk page pending a references:
“ | For years, she has been committed to honoring the memory of José Berrocal, a former classmate of hers and William Ford at Princeton University who died after having served as the youngest president of Puerto Rico's Government Development Bank. Both were instrumental in setting up a foundation and annual scholarships in his honor. | ” |

Although I've been somewhat busy these days, I did find these references, one of which includes Kim's eulogy of Berrocal, another which mentions her being appointed a judge in the competition for the Berrocal grants, and another explaining how her fundraising work for the ACS Red Gala memorializes Berrocal:

I hope this helps.

- The external links above indicate that there are two different scholarships honoring José Berrocal:
- Jose M. Berrocal Scholarship - local PR chapter American Cancer Society, different from the Ford scholarship
- Jose M. Berrocal Scholarship for Environmental Studies, which is the Ford scholarship - the third in the list
- The second link --> Ms. Casiano expresses her respect for Berrocal and indicates that they were close friends. I think that these scholarships belong in the Berrocal article. But, I don't think that one project of the local chapter of the ACS really belongs in this article. — ERcheck (talk) 02:21, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

- You are right. I was only trying to source the statement that "For years, she has been committed to honoring the memory of José Berrocal, a former classmate of hers and William Ford at Princeton University". Her eulogy, her participation in the Ford scholarship process and her creation of the ACS Berrocal scholarship, I believe, adequately demonstrate the she has been committed to honoring his memory. Once again, I've been extremely busy and won't be able to devote any appreeciable amount of time to this for the next few days, but did want to share what little I'd been able to find.Pr4ever 02:29, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
