[edit] Article name
I propose renaming this article from "Kimber Aegis II Family" to "Kimber Aegis", for the following reasons. (1) The title of an article should be the name that most readers would look for first. See the lead section of Wikipedia:Naming conventions. (2) Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Firearms#Naming, "The names of firearm articles should start with the proper name of the manufacturer, followed by the firearm's name." (3) The word "family" in the name emphasizes that this is a group of guns and not just one gun, but that's not necessary, because, per the Wikipedia:WikiProject Firearms#Variants guideline, an article about a gun is assumed to include all of its variants or sub-models. The "II" is not necessary for the same reason. — Mudwater 14:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's been three and a half weeks and no one else has said anything about this, so I've renamed the article to "Kimber Aegis". — Mudwater 17:45, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
