Kimdo Bethel

Kimdo Bethel (b.1984) is a US American amateur boxer in the super heavyweight division best known for defeating several stars such as Mike Wilson and Jonte Willis.

6 ft 2, 218 lbs Bethel grew up in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn but is now hailing from Albany, New York. The righthander who occasionally switches to southpaw won a minor title with the Empirestategames in 2006. He has been in a lot of close fights with the stars of the division. At the 2007 US championships he defeated reigning champion Jonte Willis (13:13, countback) before losing on another countback (12:12) to William Moore in the next round, at the trials he lost to #3 ranked Lenroy Thompson (9:10) , beat two-time champion Wilson (15:14) , lost to 2007 champion Michael Hunter jr. (6:16) but beat Wilson again before getting outpointed a second time by Hunter.
