Kimbel Arena

Kimbel Arena is a 1,039-seat multi-purpose stadium in Conway, South Carolina. It is home to the Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers basketball team.

The plan is to eventually replace this with the YRT2 Arena, a facility with about 7,000 seats, to be shared by the Chanticleers and a pro hockey team in the ECHL. It was set to be completed in the fall of 2007; however, due to a lack of funding, this project is currently on hold indefinitely. It will be at least 2009 before it is completed.
