Kim Timmins was a fictional character on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours, portrayed by Brett Swain. He entered the soap in 2005 and returned in 2007.
Kim is the father of the Timmins children. Seen as a bogan, or a bludging surfer, Kim comes from a wealthy family that didn't want him to marry Janelle. Kim rebelled against his family, who in turn offered him a second chance giving Kim and Janelle a big home to live in, with all the comforts. Kim turned his family down, and as a result of this, Janelle left him, blaming him for turning down the one opportunity they had to start a "real family". Kim did not contact any of his children at Janelle's request, but recently turned up in Ramsay Street after the disappearance of Dylan after the plane crash. He and Janelle are now back together, and are planning a second wedding, despite the fact that Kim had a vasectomy in order to stop Janelle from (somehow) having their seventh child without his consent. Kim has worked as a labourer for Paul Robinson, but resigned the same day, before taking on a job at Scarlet Bar, from which he was fired for "taking too many liberties". He operated the hot dog cart started by Dylan named Dyl-Dogs, but later substituted the hot dogs for illegal pirated DVDs, the money from which he has used to buy a car, many treats for Bree and various expensive DNA tests initially ordered for Bree's science project, but ultimately proved that he found he wasn't Bree's father, and Janelle wasn't her mother.
On the day of the wedding, Kim, pursued by Senior Sergeant Allan Steiger and several other officers, fled after the illegal DVD business was exposed. Since then, he has been sending money to his family. At Christmas, Kim sent Janelle a letter, telling her that he would let her move on with her life, and that he would no longer interfere with his family.
On March 29, when he heard from Bree that Stingray had died from a fatal aneurysm, he arrived back in Ramsay Street to attend his son's funeral. He was shocked to discover that Janelle was now together with Allan Steiger, but was thankful that he wasn't going to arrest him until after Stingray's funeral. Even though Steiger warned Kim about this, he still attended the funeral. Impressed by his loyalty to family, Steiger allowed Kim to leave Erinsborough, but only if he took Dylan with him to help sort his anger issues out.
