Kim Strauss grew up in a blue-collar town on the outskirts of Chicago. Kim's humor, his confidence, his edgy awareness of the world, were honed on the street — and the street is still a big part of him. You'll find it in his solid gait, his quick wit, and the slight Chicago accent that still colors his speech. Think Dennis Franz meets Jimmy Cagney and you'll get the idea. Kim's incredible vocal range of 4 octaves lends itself to a wide array of musical styles, which he has performed throughout the years. They include Legit, R&B, Rock and Roll, Pop, Country, and stage performances in a variety of well-known musicals. He is also very well-known for doing many voice roles throughout the history of the Power Rangers franchise; the more notable roles include Ninjor in Season 3 of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Scorpius in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, and Jinxer in Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. He has also enjoyed recurring acting roles on popular television series such as The Young and The Restless and Babylon 5.
