Kim Simmonds (b. Kim Maiden Simmonds, 6 December 1947, Newbridge, Monmouthshire, South Wales, now residing in Oswego, New York) is a guitarist. In the 1960s, he became one of the founding members of the British blues band Savoy Brown (then called the Savoy Brown Blues Band) in Soho, London with John O'Leary, Dave Peverett, Roger Earl and Tony Stevens, and is the only founding member still in the band. There have been many changes to the lineup of Savoy Brown over the years, yet they still tour internationally. In 1997 Kim released his first solo acoustic blues album aptly titled "Solitaire" and has continued to record solo and full band albums. In 2008 he will be touring with the Savoy Brown Band and also as a solo act, where he will now be showing his original art on both guitars and canvas.
