Kim Jae-min (born on 4th March 1983 in Seoul) is a male Korean television soap actor. He has become well known throughout South Korea and Taiwan as a soap star, during which he starred in mostly entertainment shows. When attending a Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, a member had picked him to do an advertisement for a famous Korean noodle brand "Nongshim."

Kim Jae-min was named after a person from the bible, following the strong Christian beliefs within his family, and is said to mean, an intelligent cheeky person.

Kim Jae-min, now 23, was brought up in a Christian family, and attended Namdaemun Middle High School in Seoul, South Korea. After attending middle high school, Jae-min went to Fukuoka Prefectural Senior High School in Fukuoka, Japan. At this time, it is said that he realised that he'd like to attend a prestigious high school, and learn more about his theological roots. When he completed his high school diploma, Jae-min was admitted to Hansei University to study in the Bachelor of Theology. After graduating, Jae-min went to The University of Auckland in New Zealand and studied a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science.

His parents are well-known members of the medical community, and architectural round-table.
