Kim Dong-Kil is an amateur South Korean boxer. He won a silver medal at World Amateur Boxing Championship in 1982. Due to the Soviet bloc boycott of the Los Angeles Olympics, Kim was the gold medal favourite, but lost a highly disputed 4-1 decision to an American boxer Jerry Page in the quarterfinals even though Kim dominated his opponent.
He didn't turn pro, and retired after winning his second gold medal in the 1986 Asian Games.
