Kim Brown is a fictional character on the CBS television series The Unit. She is portrayed by American actress Audrey Marie Anderson.

[edit] Synopsis

Kim Brown is the loyal wife of Staff Sergeant Bob Brown. In the first season, she and Bob are new arrivals to the Unit. At first, she is confused by the new rules of the wives of Unit team members, but soon Jonas Blane's wife, Molly, takes Kim under her wing and shows her the ropes.

It should also be noted, that Kim is an army brat, herself.

In the first season, Kim becomes pregnant with her second child; she and Bob also have a daughter named Serena. In order to help to provide for their growing family, and to keep herself occupied, she takes a job at a local radio station known as KTML "The Missile". In the second season, their son is born.

Kim is a fun-loving woman whose mood may change from fun to serious very quickly. She best can be described as the little sister of the group. Although she is the youngest, others may sometimes turn to her for helpful advice. She always tries to make the most logical decision based on the situation. Despite her youth, small stature, and apparent naivete, she has on more than one occasion caused problems with her outspoken disapproval of what she considers to be wrong, especially when it involves Colonel Ryan.

Her closest friend in the group is Tiffy Gerhardt, although Kim sometimes will distance herself from Tiffy due to the bad decisions that Tiffy continually seems to make.

In Season Three, Kim is pregnant with her third child. She spends a few days on bed rest due to cramping in her pregnancy but when Bob isn't much help, she gives up trying to rest.
