Kim Appleby

Kim Appleby (born 28 August 1961, London), is a mixed-race English singer, songwriter and actor. She participated in the duo Mel and Kim, with her sister Melanie Appleby. Her father is Jamaican and her mother is English.

She had a show on the European internet station Storm Live. She also acted in the movie Going Straight and in the soap opera, Doctors (on BBC One).

Appleby later went on to feature on some tracks on Tonka's album 84, which was released on 8 March 2004. Those tracks were:

  • "Believe" (featuring Kim Appleby and Whiteman)
  • "Follow You"

In 2007 Appleby issued "High" featuring remixes by Vito Benito, Rod Carrillo, and DJ Theo. The single was released on Red Stick Recordings, a Strictly Rhythm Records Inc. affiliate.
