By June 7, 1984 it would switch to Adult Contemporary as KMJI but would later tweak its direction to Soft AC and change its calls to KXLT. By 1992 it would reclaim the KMJI calls and evolve to All-70's direction in 1994 (They would also pick up the KIMN calls by 1995). By 1997 they would return to AC (As "KIM 100.3"), and by 1999 would evolve into its current format and adopt the "Mix" moniker. The morning show is family-friendly and features Dom Testa & Jane London- The Dom & Jane Show which is regularly number 1 adults 25-54. The weekends feature 80s music from Def Leppard to Madonna.

[edit] Origin

The call letters KIMN, originally belonged to a Denver AM station located at 950 on the dial. From the late 1950s to the 1980s KIMN was the dominant Top 40 music station in Denver. The station also highlighted the popular local rock n' roll bands of that era, such as the Astronauts, Daniels, Fogcutters, Moonrakes, Soul Survivors, and others.[1] The station had other nicknames as KIMN Tiger, Boss Radio, and 95 Fabulous KIMN.[2] The station was then owned and operated by the late Kenneth E. Palmer(1925-1984).[3]
