Bob Schreck is an American comic book editor who works for DC Comics on their All-Star and Vertigo lines. He was born and raised on Long Island and now resides in New York City.
During his career in the comics, Bob has worked in marketing, promotions and administration for companies like Creation Cons, Comico, Marvel and Dark Horse. In 1997, he and his partner Jim Nozemack started Oni Press, an independent comic book publishing company out of Portland, OR. Oni featured the talents of creators like Kevin Smith, Frank Miller, Paul Pope and Greg Rucka, and offered an alternative to the mainstream.
Schreck’s position as group editor for DC puts him at the wheel of titles like All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder, All-Star Superman and the soon-to-be launched Madame Xanadu among others. After 30 years in the business, Bob remains passionate, committed and still very excited about this medium.
