One of Ireland's oldest and largest international arts festivals, Kilkenny Arts Festival takes place annually in August in the beautiful medieval town of Kilkenny, Ireland.
Kilkenny Arts Festival was founded in 1974 by a group of classical music enthusiasts and now presents a rich programme of classical, jazz, world and traditional music, dance, theatre, literature, film, visual art, young people's events and an extensive street programme.
Committed to the presentation of leading Irish and International artists, Kilkenny Arts Festival has secured a reputation for innovation and excellence. As a non-profit organisation Kilkenny Arts Festival is grateful to all their supporters who share their vision in staging a cultural celebration of this magnitude.
