Kilwee

Kilwee (Irish: Chill Uaighe; meaning church of the grave) is an electoral ward of Lisburn in Northern Ireland. It is currently part of the West Belfast parliamentary constituency. Kilwee ward was created in 1985 after the large Collin ward was split in three.

Under current proposals for the restructuring of local government in Belfast the ward is to be abolished and divided between new Belfast wards such as Twinbrook, after the city boundary has been expanded.
