From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kilnacreeva is a townland in County Cavan, Ireland where the Druids Druid built forts circa 1000 BC to protect themselves from roving bandits and wild animals. In the 16th and 17th century the land was owned by British landlords and Irish peasants were the sharecroppers who had to give most of their farming products to their British masters. At the present times the land of Kilnacreeva is owned and cultivated by prosperous Irish farmers.

Kilnacreeva is definitely an attractive sightseeing destination. It is the land of beautiful old Irish churches, ancient castles, traditional Irish bars and extensive pasture fields interspersed with thick green bushes.

The Irish government encourages the farmers to plant trees on the land by allocating special subsidies aimed at protecting the environment.
