Kilmore is an unincorporated town in Union Township, Clinton County, Indiana. The town was laid out by Abner C. Pence and for twenty years was known as Penceville, but the name was changed by the railroad company to Killmore after the nearby creek (itself named for settler John Killmore).[3]
