Erik Engevik aka Kileak has been DJing since 2000. He began mixing House and Jungle with a few friends. Quickly catching on, he began to play house parties, weekly club events and raves in Minneapolis, MN. After spending more time at the record store Kileak began to explore other music avenues when he stumbled upon UK Garage. Which was pretty much a mix of the two styles he was currently playing and would soon become his new sound.
As a DJ, Kileak tends to focus more on the "Bassline"/"Dub" side UK Garage. Heavy basslines, crisp beats and strong vocals are his forte. However don't be surprised to hear a few soulful 2-Step tunes in the mix as well.
Kileak has performed in many cities through out North America and is now located in Toledo, OH where he has been pushing the sound more fiercely than ever as a DJ and a Promoter. He has teamed up with GSP Entertainment and has been working diligently to help keep UK Garage on the bill.
Over the years Kileak has been featured alongside artists such as Grandmaster Flash, Roc Raida, DJ Hype & MC GQ, Stakka, General Malice, Tech Itch, DJ ESP, Angel Alanis, Gavin Hardkiss, Stacy Kidd and many others.
