[edit] History

Kildonan Place opened in 1980, with anchors Sears, The Bay, and Dominion Foods. Dominion Foods closed in the 1980's, which saw the addition of a food court and current anchor Famous Players Theatres. Following a $4 million renovation in 2004, Kildonan Place saw the addition of several new fashion retailers, and a whole new look for the mall. A guest services kiosk was added in 2006, and a children's play area will be installed in fall, 2008. An additional 100,000 sq. ft. of large format stores and and in-line stores is planned. [2]
