[edit] Welcome to the PCP!

Thanks for joining the Pokémon Collaborative Project! We hope you have a great time editing Pokémon articles. If you have any questions about the articles, style, content, or simply what our favourite Pokémon are (our opinions vary, trust us!), leave a message on the project talk page. Cheers, and happy editing! --Brandon Dilbeck 16:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userboxes

I just noticed that your talk page has all of the userboxes that my user page has (as of last week). This is just spooky. Are you a copycatter? I just thought I'd point this out. --Brandon Dilbeck 00:24, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi Brandon. Yeah.. I had copied your nice boxes. I actually intended to make my own but I do not know how so I just took yours and see if I could modify anything but it seems hard.. Do you need me to remove the boxes from my page? User:kiewzhenyi
Just to let you know, since you don't seem to have used Wikipedia very much, when you want to leave someone a message, do so in their discussion page (you left your message for me in my main user page). The main user page is used to display information about yourself (and that's where you ought to put your userboxes and stuff). Also, if someone leaves a message on your talk page, you can usually get away with making your reply there, since if they really want to see a reply from you, they'll be watching your talk page.
I don't need you to remove your userboxes, and there's really no reason why I'm allowed to. I just think it makes my page less personal, because someone else has the same userboxes as me. If you want to add your own userboxes to your page, I suggest going to the Userbox gallery to browse through hundreds of userboxes. When you find one you like, just copy the code into your own user page in the same manner that the already-existing userboxes are there.
Good luck on your Userbox adventure! --Brandon Dilbeck 16:05, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Belated welcome

To wikipedia, and to the sg community. ;) We certainly do lack contributions to the thriving gaming and entertainment scene in Singapore, so we will be looking forward to your valued inputs. Hope to see you around! :)--Huaiwei 08:53, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

The article Kiew Zhen Yi has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. If you want to write about yourself, please use your user page. NawlinWiki 16:20, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:JJC Crest.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:JJC Crest.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:07, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:JJC Crest.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:JJC Crest.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:46, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Singapore Meetup 4 date changed

Singapore Meetup

Meetup 5

  • Status: Currently being planned
  • Date: 2008

Please indicate your interest at the meetup page.

Hi Kiewzhenyi, you were originally invited to Singapore meetup 4. However, due to the lack of response, the date of the meetup has been changed to November. Please refer to this page for more information. -- ZhongHan (Email) 05:29, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

No, joining the meetup is free. However, plans include lunch/dinner, so bring money for that. It wouldn't be too expensive, most of us are students. --ZhongHan (Email) 08:25, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
It's currently being planned, the meetup box will be updated when more details are available. --ZhongHan (Email) 14:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:41, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Keb25 11:15, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Campus SuperStar, you will be blocked from editing. Cocoma 16:24, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I admit I vandalise Campus Superstar. But I was given a final warning and should not be blocked. The pages I created, ji bai and lan jiao were also removed. I do not think this is appropriate, considering my pages conforms with all the rules. (ji bai and lan jiao are commonly used slang in Singapore.) Please review this matter."

Decline reason: "It's not at all clear to me why you think we should allow your vandalism. Also, Wikipedia is not a dictionary of slang. ji bai and lan jiao were inappropriate. — Yamla 15:46, 10 October 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] Ji Bai

Sorry, Wikipedia is not a slang dictionary. Also, your article had no sources showing that this term is actually in use. NawlinWiki 15:40, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

You are forgiven. Stop accusing me next time. :) kiewzhenyi 15:59, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

Please stop introducing jokes into articles, such as those you created at Criticism of Mormonism. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Continuing to add jokes and other disruptive content into articles may lead to you being blocked from editing.

I'm not sure if replacing the {{who}} tag with your you, your mother, and others was meant as a joke, but it certainly wasn't what the tag was asking for. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 16:08, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm no expert on Chinese mythology, but it seems your recent edit to Chang'e 1 was vandalism. Please don't. Ben Hocking (talk|contribs) 16:17, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
