Kieron Connolly

Kieron Connolly, Irish novelist, (born Dublin, March 14th, 1961), his novels 'Water Sign' and 'There is a House' have dealt with subjects as diverse as love and matters related, bereavement and addiction. Although everything about the author seems rooted in Dublin: his novels, accent, comparisons with Behan and Beckett etc., he has on more than one occasion in interviews hinted that his place of birth was Thurles, County Tipperary. Connolly first came to public attention when his play 'Tuesday' was produced in the late 1990s. The writer is a nephew of musician ( and former member of The Dubliners ) Bob Lynch.[1]
