Kieran Murphy (born 1983) is an Irish sportsperson who is a member of the Cork senior hurling team.
Kieran Murphy was born in County Cork in 1983. He has made 14 appearances for the Cork senior hurlers since making his debut in 2003 and has scored a total of 1-12. He is best known as a substitute, however, he started for Cork on a number of occasions. During his senior hurling career Murphy has contributed to Cork's All-Ireland victories in 2004 and 2005, as well as three Munster Championship titles. Prior to this he has won an All-Ireland Minor Hurling medal in 2001, as well as a County Under-21 medal with Sarsfields. Murphy has also won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal with Limerick Institute of Technology and a Railway Cup medal with Munster in 2005. His nickname is Fraggie.
