Founded May,2007 A group of youth activists age 8-16 who want to make a difference in the lives of these magnificent creatures. Gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, bonobos, gibbons, and siamangs are helped. Raising a whopping $500 in 5 months, KSA members have had many accomplishments and hope to have many more.

The president is an 11 year old, named Ley. Vice president is another 11 year old named James. Both have been working for years as youth animal activists.

May 2007- Visit to Bronx Zoo May 2007- Adoption from DFGFI- "Kubana"(gorilla) June 2007- Petition Against Poachers October 2007- Tarrytown Third Friday $300 raised January 2008- Adoption from WWF- "Pongo" (orangutan) April 2008- Adoption from JGI- (Chimpanzee) May 2008- Fundraiser for the Apes/ Jane Goodall R&S Fair
