Has Anyone noticed that one of the categories this is in is "Torture"? 09:30 26 May
Yes. This doesn't sound like torture to me. Pyrogen 08:40, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Darn! I was gonna put it there! -- 71.194.230.44 02:23, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
On August 24th, 2005, User:Redwolf24 claimed this page had a NPOV. After about a month, and no active discussion to solve it, I have removed it. If HOWEVER someone finds a NPOV, and points it out on this page, you can re-instate it, and it could be discussed. Until then, we'll leave the NPOV page uncluttered with "dead" nominees. I think that this article contains some misinformation. On several of these songs, I am certain that it is not the original artst performing. Also, I'm pretty sure that one can cover a song with or without permission as long as royalties are paid.
- I removed the parts about the original artist performing. It is quite clear that this is not the case --Third 06:06, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
This website is definately NPOV. The tone held throughout the article is very anti-Kidz Bop. I think this article needs to be tweaked to hold a less sarcastic tone and fact checked. --THollan 13:00, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
Allright, I just cleaned up this article. It needs a bit more work, but it now reads less like some assanine take on the album and a serious encyclopedia article. Frankly, the state it was in before would have reflected badly on Wikipedia. I also deleted the comments in the edit text, since they were simply the writers POV and frankly have no place. --THollan 13:45, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Album cover.
Heeee. Hilarious as it is, I thought I should draw attention to the fact that someone's uploaded a doctored album cover for this page. It says "Ruining Music One Hit at a Time!"
I kinda agree with the sentiment, but, you know, NPOV and all...
Tredanse 11:19, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- fixed it, BTW. Tredanse 11:22, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
Seriously though, it bugs me how the 'controversy' is about the song contents, rather than the idea of exposing children to such awful, awful music.
Neutral point of view man...
- LOL. Where is that picture? I want to see it. -- ~PinkDeoxys~ 01:24, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] More Controversy
i also heard (on the World of Warcraft Off-topic forums, so it is probably bullshit), that th dvd version of some album or something is just child porn... anyone else heard?
- Sounds like bullshit to me. M2K e 02:04, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kidz Bop 10
It's New! And It's Awesome!
- I have a rather lengthy rant about the subject...(Out of ALL the songs they could've jacked up, WHY "You're Beautiful"?!?) They...they just need to die. The F-bomb is NOT kid-friendly... 18:06, 8 July 2006
They're back, they all need to go to hell!!!!!!
- I've always hated them, but since they've killed feel good inc. i think theat they need to shoot themselves. and now they killed whered you go.
[edit] Moved to Correct Summary
You can spank me in celebration later, mmmkay?
[edit] Blind Prophet?
At the bottom of the paragraph "Audiences" is a sentence that reads "An alternative to kidz bop is Blind Prophet."
I'm not sure what the Blind Prophet referenced is, as WP has no article for this term, and googling refers references from WoW to Oedipus. I'm removing this statement, if it is for some reason valid, feel free to return it. 63.88.67.230 15:56, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
edit: whoops, it's gone already. Someone get to it before I did?
- Yes. I was pretty sure that was nonsense. Chubbles 18:13, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kidz Bop Rules!
I'm amazed that I'm the first person on this page who realizes Kidz bop is worthy of Cult Status among adults. It's up there with The Shaggs, Tiny Tim, Mrs. Miller, Sesame Street, et al. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davetaub (talk • contribs) 06:01, 2 February 2007 (UTC).
- ...wow, just... wow. Words cannot describe the stupidity of what you said. 70.44.146.95 16:20, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Subarticle
Does anyone else feel that the Kidz Bop Kids should have their own article, or at least a section on the page? I do, but I don't know anything about them except that they killed the song Bad Day (as well as several others). Daniel Powter must've had a bad day then... --Noone 02:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
(P.S.: Are those kids ever gonna hit puberty, or do they have some fountain of youth or something? And should something about that cat mascot be mentioned?) -- Noone 02:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nah. Those horrible demons don't deserve an article about them =P 70.44.146.95 16:22, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, they ruin all the songs they sing. Well, most of them. Hope they do not mess up the most fabulous song of all time, Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs! :P

[edit] Removed stuff
Another common complaint is that Kidz Bop ruins the songs they sing, as the childrens' voices are not matured or professional.[1]
I removed that. The complaint was made my one reviewer, and the complaint was actually that the songs weren't suited to children's voices. 171.71.37.29 23:00, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
