I was just wondering why it hurts so bad to be hit in kidney?!

Answer: A punch to that region hurts because of damage to the floating ribs. That's the most immediate source of the pain. Damage to the kidneys is secondary, and you'll probably only sense referred pain well after the punch actually occurred. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.50.72.156 (talk) 18:53, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
