Kidbrooke railway station serves Kidbrooke in the London Borough of Greenwich, south-east London. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Southeastern.

The station is on the Bexleyheath line, and was one of the original stations opened on 1 May 1895. The original station buildings have been replaced with more modern structures. On the west of the station is the short Kidbrooke Tunnel.

A goods yard at the station was closed, along with those at Eltham Well Hall and Bexleyheath stations, on 7 October 1968 [1].

[edit] Services

Trains run east to Dartford (with a few extended to Gravesend or the Medway Towns, and a few rush-hour trains diverted to Slade Green), and west terminating at Charing Cross, Victoria or Cannon Street. The daytime service is one train every half an hour to both Charing Cross and Victoria, with the exception of a few trains per day, at peak times, to Cannon Street. This equates to a 15 minute frequency as far west as Lewisham.

On the north side of the station is a bus turning and waiting area from which run the 178 and B16 services.
