Talk:Kickback

Is this redirect at all appropriate? It seems to me that the content that would be under this title is not in fact in political corruption. Falcon 23:00, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I concur; a kickback is a specific corrupt act. Political corruption is a concept, not a specific act. Practitioners of political corruption may accept or solicit kickbacks, or they might not. - 66.92.73.52 16:17, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

The entry makes kickback sound like it's an illegal act. But kickback can also describe legal acts (but sometimes unethical acts). The entry needs to be expanded to cover both ethical legal acts and unethical legal acts. But what is common for all kinds of kickbacks is that their purpose is to influence the person getting the kickback. --Ingeborgsjon 03:37, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
