According to AnimeNewsNetwork, Michitaka Kikuchi is his real name, not just an alternative pen name. Can anyone provide any sources that can either support or refute this statement?

"Q: What is your relationship to Kikuchi Michitaka?
AK: If you cut us, we'll bleed. I am the real Asamiya Kia."

To add to the confusion, Shades of Nemesis claims Michitaka Kikuchi is a different person. Greyweather
This http://www.ex.org/articles/2001/ax2001-panel-asamiya.html clearly refutes that idea though.
Q: Are you and Kikuchi Michitaka the same person?
AK: Yes, Kikuchi and I are one-and-the-same. The reason I was working under two names is because "Kikuchi" I reserved for the animator side of me while "Asamiya" I used for the manga artist side of me. I've dropped my "Kikuchi" identity recently, because Kikuchi hasn't been getting any work!
