Kianga is a small town on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, immediately north of the town of Narooma. At the 2006 census, Kianga had a population of 685.[1]

There are two shops in Kianga; one is Antons, a takeaway store and cafe. It has been previously called the Kianga One stop and Eats at the Beach. Another store is Pat and Gils restaurant. it has been out of business for quite a long time. There are two bus stops in Kianga. One at the turn off to the Boat ramp and another when you come from the north into the town. There is a Telstra phone booth in the town just down the road from the Antons.

There are three beaches in Kianga. Kianga Main, Kianga Reef and Carters. Duesbery's to the north and Bar Beach could also be considered beaches in Kianga. There are a few dangers in Kianga. Kianga Main ahs strong currents on the beach. On the bike path through the town there is also a violent magpie. During the right time of year plovers can also be problems. In Kianga you can go surfing, body boarding and swimming as well as ride your bike on the bike path.

There is a lake in Kianga. It is where sewage treatment is done so I would not recommend swimming. It is also part of the marine park and fishing is banned (even though I wouldn't fish there anyway).
