The Khwopa Engineering College is situated in the city of Bhaktapur, Nepal. It was established as a community college to provide engineering education by the local government. It is affiliated to Purbanchal University. It is one of the biggest colleges in Nepal. Khwopa Engineering college is one of the colleges that fall among the Khwopa Circle of educational institutions. Other institutions are 1. Khwopa College(+2 / I.Sc.) 2. Khwopa Polytechnic ( P.C.L. Nursing) 3. Khwopa Polytechnic (Diploma in Civil Engineering)

The courses that are available in bachelor program in Khec are: 1.Electronics and Communication 2.Computer 3.Civil 4.Architecture

There also programs for masters: Masters in Earthquake Engineering.
