[edit] Given-name Lists

This ToP Dab

This is about the name. For people known by the name, see Khurshid (disambiguation).

is referring to people who have it

  • as surname, or
  • as a given name more often used alone than with a surname.

Don't create lists of people, or of notable people, with a particular given name: they are non-encyclopedic, and thus WP:AFD-fodder.

[edit] Male/Female

I left my improved version of what i found

Interestingly, either a male and female can have this name.

but removed to here

either independently or in combination with other words.

bcz it is so unclear: Are these people

  • with only a given name, vs people with surnames as well?
  • with only one given name, vs people with two given names?
  • with limititations on their other given names -- e.g. being gender specific?

Perhaps a lk to

Gender stereotyping of given names
Androgynous name (note its lk to German name)
Non-gender-specific name

would be good.

Let's tell readers *why* this is interesting:

Just bcz it's so rare for English-language-culture names (which doesn't rule out mention, IMO)?
Do the cultures where it's used sterotype the gender associated with names more or less English-language ones do?
